Our unique life-saving course is specifically designed for surfers, bodyboarders, and Stand Up Paddlers to recognize, rescue, and treat fellow surfers who may be in distress.
Led by international professionals and seasoned surfers with years of experience training beach lifeguards, this full-day course covers a variety of subjects such as surf-specific first aid, basic rescue techniques, and the theory of beach environments, waves, tides, and rips.
In addition to theoretical learning, there will also be practical training on land and in the water to give you hands-on experience in real-life scenarios.

Aim of the course :
To prepare and train medically non-trained surfers and watersports enthusiasts in Surf-specific First Aid, to learn and master basic aquatic life-saving support and surf rescue techniques.
Who can take this course?
This course is open to and appropriate for ANY surfer or water sports enthusiast interested in keeping themselves, friends, fellow surfers, or family members safe in the surf.
If you’re fit, healthy, 16 or over, and can swim 50m, paddle a board through the surf, run and are medically and physically fit, you can do this course.
Is there a Certificate?
Yes, every participant attending and completing the course will be awarded a certificate of attendance which also details the topics covered.
